Coming to the Quad Cinema next week is the rousing documentary United in Anger: A History of ACT-UP. It is imperative that you go see it because it details the rise of the AIDS activist movement during the dawn of the still-incurable sickness. Featuring footage and news items as well as the testimonies from those caught in the center of the epidemic, it's a stark reminder of where we were when government failed the LGBT community and how far we have come. It will make you think.
