And incidentally... a LARGE chunk of those are within the Transgender community, and those are the ones that wind up reported. Usually it's a blink or miss blurb in the papers. Because lets face it, news reporting treats the trans community as merely a blip in their radar - not newsworthy. Sad reality that has to change.
